FAQ
What video processing systems do you use for your LED walls?
Our panels interface natively and reliably with industry-leading control systems, specifically Novastar and Colorlight. This allows us to guarantee flawless, smooth, and latency-free signal management, which is essential above all in live events and complex control rooms.
Do you provide support in choosing and installing the equipment?
Certainly. Our technical team supports you right from the early stages of the project, recommending the best solutions (for example, panels with high refresh rate driver ICs to avoid flickering during television broadcasts). We provide complete assistance for both rental event set-ups and high-end fixed installations.
What does the acronym EOCT mean in your LED screens?
EOCT stands for a special transparent resin surface protection treatment applied to our modules. This technology encapsulates the LEDs, making the screen surface perfectly uniform and extremely resistant to impacts, dust, and even chemical cleaning agents. Unlike other resins, the EOCT treatment does not alter brightness, but instead enhances visual contrast and black depth, making the panels ideal and safe for the frequent assembly and disassembly typical of rental services and live events.
What is the difference between COB technology and SMD assembly with EOCT?
These are two cutting-edge solutions that offer maximum quality and durability: COB (Chip-on-Board): The LED chips are soldered directly onto the printed circuit board (PCB) without an external casing and then covered with a protective resin. This eliminates exposed solder joints, drastically reduces failures (dead pixels), and offers a superior viewing angle. SMD with EOCT: Traditional diodes (SMD) are soldered onto the board and subsequently coated with our EOCT resin. This combination merges the excellent color reproduction of the SMD format with exceptional structural resistance against impacts and external agents.
What is 'Pixel Pitch' and how does it affect resolution?
Pixel pitch is the distance (measured in millimeters) between the center of one LED pixel and the center of the adjacent pixel. A lower pixel pitch (e.g., 1.5mm or 1.9mm) offers very high resolution and is ideal for close-up viewing distances, such as in flagship stores or television studios. A higher pixel pitch, on the other hand, is perfect for large stage screens viewed from a greater distance.
Why is the refresh rate important?
Refresh rate, measured in Hertz (Hz), indicates how many times per second the image is redrawn on the screen. Our panels reach extremely high standards, driven by high-end Driver ICs (such as the CFD555A). A high refresh rate is essential to prevent annoying flickering when the screen is filmed by cameras, smartphones, or broadcast equipment.
